Reisterstown Soccer

Reisterstown FC began with a simple belief: players deserve an environment where their development comes first.

What started with a handful of dedicated travel teams has grown into a community soccer club serving families throughout northwest Baltimore County. Built entirely by volunteers, RFC was created to provide high-quality soccer close to home while keeping the game affordable and accessible.

Today, that same player-first philosophy guides everything we do—from our competitive travel program to our growing recreational program. Every practice, every match, and every decision reflect our commitment to helping players develop as athletes, teammates, and leaders.

Mission

To provide a player-first soccer experience that develops athletes, builds leaders, and strengthens our community through affordable, high-quality soccer.

The RFC Difference

Built for Players. Every decision begins with one question:

“Is this in the best interest of our players?”

What We Believe

  • Every player deserves the opportunity to grow.
  • Coaches are mentors first.
  • Winning matters—but development matters more.
  • Community is built through service.
  • Leadership is learned on and off the field.
  • Soccer should be accessible to every family.

Community Powered

RFC is built by volunteer coaches, board members, and families who invest their time because they believe in the players and our community.

Competitive: With Purpose

We love to compete.

We also believe competition should develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and character.

Affordable Excellence

High-quality soccer shouldn’t require premium club prices.

We strive to make competitive and recreational soccer accessible to more families.

About the Program

Tired of traveling to Eldersburg, Westminster, or Cockeysville on weeknights for a quick practice? Wish there was an alternative that was local?

Reisterstown FC’s founding principle is providing opportunities for athletes of all ages, genders, and abilities and player development .

Reisterstown FC is dramatically expanding its recreational program beginning in Fall 2026. We’re offering the following age groups:

  • Coed Developmental
    • 2nd – 4th grade
  • Boys and Girls Competitive
    • 5th – 8th grade

If you are in grades other than these and interested, please reach out; we will track interest and determine if we can offer additional programs.

Built for Players

At Reisterstown FC, competition and development go hand in hand.

Our travel program exists to challenge players, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the game. Every decision we make is guided by what’s best for our players—not by profit or participation numbers.

Whether your child dreams of playing in high school, simply wants to compete at a higher level, or is looking for an environment that encourages growth, RFC provides a place to develop both on and off the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fall is our core season with 2 practices per week. During Winter and Spring, there is normally one practice per week. During the Summer we hold periodic conditioning and skill clinics.

Most league games are within 45 minutes. Some EDP matches may be up to 2 hours away. Tournament travel varies by team and can range from local events to tournaments several hours away, sometimes requiring an overnight stay.

We get this question often, and this is the simple answer: No. The Reisterstown FC has no residency requirements. It’s simply where the program is based.

The price for the 2026-2027 season is $975. This price may change for future seasons.

That fee includes your entire practice kit, a practice pinnie, 2 game-day kits, a club bag, all three seasons (Fall, Winter, & Spring), and 2-3 tournaments.

There may be additional fees outside of the registration, like travel to events, or participating in more than 3 tournaments.

We do run multiple fundraisers each year to keep the program fees low. As such, all athletes are expected to participate in the fundraising programs. (Don’t worry: our fundraising goals are modest).

Each player needs:

  • Shin guards
  • Outdoor cleats
  • Indoor cleats

If your athlete wears glasses, they will need appropriate eyewear with a sports strap.

Our program believes in well-rounded athletes and encourages participation in other sports. To enable this, the Fall season is the core season, with twice weekly practices, weekly games, and the majority of our tournament schedule.

Although we play in the Winter and Spring, we consider them secondary seasons.  We only ask for upfront communication with the coaches so they can set practice and game schedules accordingly.
